& context

The Nikon Music Festival operation is 6 consecutive years of brand activation to reach and mobilise photo and music enthusiasts.

The "Nikon Music Festival" combines its image with live music to appeal to 18-24 year-olds and educate them about quality photography, despite the massive use of smartphones. The digital and event-based operation was organised in partnership with 2 music festivals (Les Vieilles Charrues & Rock En Seine).

Amateur photographers, supervised by professional coaches, were selected to cover the festivals. The reporters' best photos were published daily on Nikon's web platforms and on the festivals' giant screens. The Nikon Studio, a 50m2 facility in the brand's colours, offered festival-goers a memorable brand experience with photo animations, free loan of Nikon cameras and a photo exhibition on the terrace.
