CONTEXT

Since 2012, Magic Garden has been designing and producing the set and programming for this summer event in Europe’s largest business district. Becoming a focus for relaxation and conviviality, the event comprises an action-packed six-week programme of workshops, after-work events, sport, culture, games and other events.

Every day, 100% free entertainment, colourful furniture, and appetizing food in space spanning 3500m2 in Place de La Défense, Paris.

DEVICE

For the 6^th edition, in 2018, Magic Garden focused on the idea of urban greening and the art of better living and experiences. The event was designed as a refreshing agora to cool off with healthy juice after a sports session, indulge in the art of do-it-yourself and relax on a rooftop rocked by an eclectic musical programme.

For five and a half weeks, Summer Paris La Défense invited visitors to take part in numerous events and thematic workshops. The aim? Encourage inhabitants, students, employees and tourists to enjoy La Défense differently, to relax and share unprecedented moments at any time of the day.
